May 12. 15 pm - Public Address: "Interventionist Art in the Age of Enterprise Culture". Lecture by New York based artist and writer Gregory Sholette in Copenhagen. Sholette will talk about how “Many key assumptions held by an earlier generation of politically engaged artists and activists about what oppositional culture is and what it is not, are being challenged today by a new wave of interventionist practitioners who are less concerned with demystifying ideology than with 'creatively disrupting' it.” Read more on

Nov. - Stripped Bare: Lars Mathisen [DK] and Alex Villar [NY]. "Stripped Bare" is the title of a large video- and sound installation that is created in cooperation between the danish and the american art scene. The installation will be shown on commercial widescreens in Canal Street, New York.

December 07

Dec. 5. - 9. - PEN Danish  / American Voices: Pen American Center [NY] and Dansk Pen [DK]. Event for Danish and American writers in Copenhagen.

January 08

Jan. 19. - Technically Sweet :  Maria Finn & Yvette Brackman [DK] and Lia Gangitano [NY]. "Technically Sweet" is the title of an exhibition project at the Participant Inc and the Anthology Film Archives - it is also the title of an unrealized film from 1976 by Michelangelo Antonioni. Screening at Anthology Film Archives.
