Literary exchange pool

Support may be provided, in whole or in part, to defray the most economical travel and hotel expenses in connection with a Danish author’s participation in literary festivals, readings and publication events abroad, if there is a formal invitation. 

Support may be provided on the same conditions to foreign authors traveling to Denmark.  

The term ’author’ is defined as authors within all genres supported by the Danish Arts Council’s Committee for Literature. 

In addition, foreign translators of Danish literature may apply for support to defray travel expenses in connection with shorter stays in Denmark.
