The Danish Literature Centre
The Danish Literature Centre promotes familiarity with Danish literature nationally and internationally. It is part of the Danish Arts Agency and provides, among other things, administrative services to the Danish Arts Council's Committee for Literature. In that connection, administers a number of subsidy pools for international purposes. The Literature Centre also organises cultural exchanges between Denmark and other countries regarding literature.
The Danish Arts Council’s Committee for Literature
The Danish Arts Council consists of four committees, each representing a different art form. The Danish Arts Council’s Committee for Literature promotes familiarity with Danish literature nationally and internationally. The Committee for Literature has decision-making authority with regard to matters affecting literature, including the processing of applications for literary pools.
The Danish Arts Agency is an administrative unit under the Danish Ministry of Culture.
The agency administers the financial support provided for artists and artistic activities by the Danish state, which is mainly granted granted by the Danish Arts Council and the Danish Arts Foundation.
The Danish Arts Agency also operates the international cultural exchange programmes of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and facilitates continuous cultural exchange between Denmark and foreign countries in the fields of literature, music, the performing arts and the visual arts.
