Biography about Carsten Jensen
Carsten Jensen was born 7.24.1952. He has an M.A. in comparative literary history from the University of Copenhagen. In the 1980s he made his breakthrough as controversial debater and critic on the newspapers Politiken and Det Fri Aktuelt. In addition he was editor 1985-90 of the literary journal Fredag. Parallel with his activities as a writer Carsten Jensen in the 90s had several major press assignments abroad for a number of newspapers. These included work as a war correspondent in the former Yugoslavia, but also press assignments to Asia have been on the program.
