Biography about Søren Ulrik Thomsen

Søren Ulrik Thomsen was born in 1956 in Kalundborg and grew up on the Stevns Peninsular. He moved to Copenhagen in 1972, experiencing a culture shock which has left its mark on his poetry. He began his writing career at an early age and has worked as a full-time writer since 1982. Søren Ulrik Thomsen has been a member of the Danish Academy since 1995.
