Biography about Thorstein Thomsen

Thorstein Thomsen was born in 1950 in Lyngby, and published his first book, Fy for den lede, in 1976. There is a considerable autobiographical element to Thorstein Thomsen’s work. This is also evident in Richard, dealing with a boy’s relationship to his mother’s boyfriend, in which the basic themes of all Thomsen’s novels are presented: growing up with a single mother without much money, boyfriends who come and go, and the strong solidarity among children.
