Biography about Bjarne Reuter
Bjarne
Reuter was born in 1950 and grew up in a working-class environment in Brønshøj.
Following various casual jobs, he trained as a teacher, qualifying in 1975. He
taught until 1980 and then became a fulltime writer. He published his first
book, Kidnapning, in 1975, and is
currently one of the most frequently and widely translated Danish authors of
children’s literature.
