Biography about Iben Melbye

Iben Melbye was born in 1943 in Copenhagen. She is a qualified librarian. Melbye published her first children’s book, Uro i Lammekøbing, in 1974, and has since worked free-lance as writer, lecturer and debater. She has also made radio programmes for DR P1 (a Danish broadcasting corporation radio station) and written for the theatre and newspapers.
