Biography about Lene Kaaberbøl

Lene Kaaberbøl was born in 1960. She is an English and Dramaturgy graduate and a secondary school teacher. In 1975, when just 15 years old, Kaaberbøl published the first two books in a four-book horse series - the Tina books. She has since published a number of books in the fantasy genre, among others the Katriona trilogy. In 2000 Skammerens datter (The Shamer’s Daughter) was included on the Ministry of Culture’s Honour List as one of the best children’s books of the year.
