Biography about Klaus Høeck
Klaus Høeck was born on 27 November 1938. He made his debut in 1966 with the collection Yggdrasil and has since published more than 30 books of poetry. In Denmark he is particularly well-known for the two collections Fairy-Tales and 1001 digt. In 1993 Fairy-Tales was nominated for the European Aristeion Prize and in 1995 1001 Digt was nominated for the Nordic Council Literature Prize. He has been a member of the Danish Academy since 1989.
