Biography about Niels Frank

Niels Frank is born on 25 February 1963 in Brædstrup. He made his debut as a 22- year-old in 1985 with the collection The Instant. In 1987 he obtained his cand.phil in literary history from Aarhus University. A year later, in 1988, he received the 3-year stipend from the State Arts Foundation. Since 1988 he has been affiliated to the Copenhagen School of Creative Writing (Forfatterskolen) of which he has been director 1996 - 2001. Niels Frank was also a member of The Literary Triumvirate, under the direction of the State Arts Foundation during the period 1993-95. He was editor of the journal Limbo from 1984-87 and Den Blå Port from 1990 until 1993.
