Biography about Annemette Kure Andersen
Annemette Kure Andersen was born in Ribe in 1962. She studied Danish and Italian at the University of Aarhus, where in 1990 she obtained the degree of cand.mag. with contemporary Italian poetry as a special subject. She has also studied Italian literature at the University of Siena. Annemette Kure Andersen made her debut in 1991 with the collection Dicentra spectabilis. She has translated Danish poems by Niels Frank into Italian, but also poems from Italian by, among others, the poets Mario Baudino, Nicola Gardini and Giuseppe Ungaretti. Since 1996 she has been editor of the literary magazine Hvedekorn.BR>
