It is an intoxicating experience to read the poems of Nicolaj Stochholm. You throw up on the first page, thinking that there is plenty here to be thought about and interpreted, but you are immediately carried away on a roaring wave. After nearly an hour lost in the cascade of his words, you wake up, staring mystified at page 83, the last page before the notes come. You hardly know where you have been, but you know you've been somewhere. Once again, you find yourself in the magical alchemy of poetry, listening to a siren's song.

One of the most exciting of last year's many poetry debutants is back again with a book that confirms the confidence his debut Biografi (Biography) inspired. Nicolaj Stochholm has the only thing required: personality. He has the necessary authority, he has the voice, with a unique, untamed and tender quality that belongs to him and which you hear again and again.

25 poems and a dream

Nicolaj Stochholm has done it again, written a collection of poems that is a delight to the eye and has cemented his ballast as the most important lyricist to step onto the poetry scene in the '90s. And with his new collection, he is once again on his toes with anger, ecstasy and a grand love poem.
