Excerpts from
Mr. Getaway Goes Underground
By Anne Pedersen
After an unsuccessful attempted robbery at the National Bank, Mr. Flight ended up in Prison.
He was soon horribly bored; he missed the fresh air and all his friends. So he began to lay sneaky plans for his getaway. He drew an escape route on the bare brick wall, and calculated direction and distance, corners and curves, thus he knew precisely when he would be clear of the thick walls of the prison.
Tonight was the night. Mr Getaway picked up his spoon, lifted a flagstone and began digging.
