Excerpts from
The Tiger's Breakfast
By Jan Mogensen

Deep in the jungle one day, an elephant and a tiger met on a path. Now each of these animals thought he was the biggest and fiercest one in the jungle.
“Look at me!” shouted the elephant. “I am biggest and fiercest of all.”
“You are?” said the tiger. “And which one of us do you think can roar the loudest?”
“Why me, of course,” answered the elephant.
“Would you like to make a bet?” asked the tiger.
“Certainly,” answered the elephant.
“All right,” said the tiger. “If you win, you can trample med as flat as a pancake. If I win, I can eat you for my breakfast.”
