Nordic Translation Support Available Retroactively

That is if the translation contract was entered into after October 1st, 2006.  The reason for this is that since the annulment of the old support arrangement, NORDBOK, on October 1st, 2006, there has been no collective Nordic translation support in existence. 

Support must be applied for in the country/self-governing area whose language the work has been translated from.  In other words, application for support for translation of Danish authors must be made to the Arts Council’s Literature Committee.

The support must be applied for from the Translation Pool.

For support for translation from other Nordic languages to Danish, there is also a possibility this year to apply retroactively.  Further information is available from the respective organizations/contact persons:
